COS SEMS Certificates Expanded to All Offshore Companies
The new document, COS 2-05, Requirements for COS SEMS Certificates, now gives all offshore companies the opportunity to receive a COS SEMS Certificate if they meet the requirements of the document.
- Establishes, implements, and maintains a SEMS that meets the requirements of API RP 75;
- Participates in a SEMS audit by a COS-accredited Audit Service Provider (ASP); and
- Implements Corrective Action from audit findings.
2020 COS Safety Leadership Award
The Center for Offshore Safety recognizes operators and contractors who are willing to share processes and practices that have enhanced leadership, communication, and teamwork to improve safety management.
