COS Health, Safety, and Environment Half Day Program at OTC
When: May 5, 2022 - 8:00am - 1:45pm CST
What: Three sessions at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), focused on health, safety and environment led by COS and other offshore industry experts from COS members, the US Coast Guard, BSEE, and more. These sessions are titled “Managing the Knowledge Transition,” “Advancements in Safety Leadership,” and “Perspectives on Safety, Safety Management, and Policy Updates from Regulatory Senior Leadership.”
The morning keynote speaker series will focus on navigating cultural differences between generations to accomplish critical knowledge transfer, and the technical session will give the COS 2021 Safety Leadership award nominees an opportunity to elaborate on their industry project learnings. The Projects focus on major accident risk covering both personal and process risk, where risk and HSSE performance improvement was delivered in a systematic way through HSSE management system. These projects demonstrate evidence of risk reduction or elimination and/ or HSSE performance improvement.
The afternoon speaker series panel is led by leadership from BSEE and USCG focused on SEMS and offshore policy updates.
