HOUSTON, June 10, 2015 –

Testimony of Charlie Williams before the US House Natural Resources and US Senate Committee

In April 2015, Charlie Williams, Executive Director for Center for Offshore Safety (COS), provided testimony to both the US House Natural Resources Committee and the US Senate Commerce Committee upon the 5-year anniversary of the Deepwater Horizon Incident.

His testimony responded to the safety concerns on industry performance by providing data from the COS Annual Performance Report to demonstrate the results of Safety & Environmental Management System (SEMS) audits and industry collaboration of sharing knowledge and progress made post-Macondo.
